Froneri Finland: Ice cream brings a smile to guests’ faces

Despite the long, cold winter, Finns are proven to love ice cream. The average Finnish person eats more than 12 litres of ice cream every year, which makes us the top ice cream consumers in Europe and puts us in the top five worldwide.

Froneri Finland’s selection includes many ice cream brands that are familiar and dear to Finns, such as Classic, Pingviini and Fazer, all of which will be available to guests at the new UROS LIVE arena.

Ice cream will, of course, be sold at stands in the corridors, but I can already reveal that there will be new, fun and surprising concepts on offer! Ice cream vendors used to walk around with their cooler bags among the spectators at ice hockey games. This practice, reminiscent of a bygone era, is one of the concepts that we hope to introduce at the UROS LIVE arena.

One of Froneri Finland’s most important values is sustainability, which is reflected in everything we do. We use biogas in the production of our ice cream. We have also paid special attention to waste treatment, and our Turenki plant does not generate any landfill waste.

Sustainability is one of the big trends in the ice cream sector, too, as can be seen in the growing selection of oat-based and vegan products. Various lifestyle products have also gained popularity in the past few years. I can promise you that everyone will find an ice cream product in our UROS LIVE selection to suit their taste and diet!

My background is in the event sector, which is why I have had a lot of different arena experiences in my career. However, if I could choose any artist in the world that I would like to see on the UROS LIVE arena stage, my choice would be Eminem, the American rap music superstar.
